People are really starting to play the objectives now, I've had a few games where teams of 10 or so people will just sprint between points and sit there taking flags.
They'll happily take horrendous casualty numbers to capture an objective.

In all the time I've played online (currently approaching 140 hours) I've only once not been able to get online..is it possibly your internet or we're the servers down?

I think it was the servers being down, it was literally just after the update, when I tried it later that night I got on fine

There was scheduled downtime during the update process, but there's loads of traffic on EA servers when a big patch is released and they do have a habit of creaking under the load.

I don't think grenades auto-refresh anymore, FTL.

Never did with me on the PS4? Maybe I didn't wait long enough for them to auto refresh, I always went looking or asking for ammo

Yea, since the DLC pack was released your grenade would auto refresh every couple of minutes.
Was surprisingly useful at times.

Doesn't seem to be the case anymore though.

They've made it so grenades don't bounce off your teammates within 10m, thank f**k for that! Nothing worse than lining up a sweet rifle grenade shot and some numpty walks by and deflects it back at you blowing you up :tired:

Updated this after a week of not playing. Only had a few games but seems better? Voting for the next map is a good thing although seems to go really quickly, not that its a life/death kind of decision lol.

Yup, I agree, not enough time on voting. Have you the DLC yet? I'm finding the new maps brutal! It's almost as if I'm up against the professional gamers lol

If I'm honest I'm a little disappointed, other than playing the new maps, I haven't really seen the benefit of the DLC yet! I am only lvl34 at present though

I use the 1895. tbf I don't even bother customising my loadouts much, it seems rather pointless for me!

Im trying the other sniper rifles because the rate of fire is quite low with the 1895, but recently I've found I'm quite good at sniping with the Support class M1909 Benet-Mercie Telescopic on single round fire mode, I've found that it's range is far superior to any of the sniping weapons and the rounds don't drop like they do with the sniping rifles!

Though on the flip side it takes 3 or 4 hits to kill someone.

Was hard work last night. The fooking rock glitch was supposed to have been fixed, it's not. Being a sneaky sniper with clear line of sight still isn't enough

Had to actually switch the game off lol

Try the gewehr 98 sniper. Rapid muzzle velocity and near no drop. Effective weapon at 80-120m . I think its the best sniper rifle for distance in the game.

Yea I've found that if your anywhere close to a rock, mud, wall, tree etc the rounds bounce of it, plus it gives away your position! I got killed three times before working it out lol!

Also the standard of players that have been on lately, either the servers are putting me in with a higher skill level than I currently have or I'm up against professional players. I'm really struggling to keep my k/d ratio above 1.00!

Admittedly I'm not the best player, but you get my point

But yeah I would say the class of players has definatly changed.

Admittedly I had one the other night with a 5.00 k/d, 15 kills to 1 deaths, but I was in the St Charmin (I think that's how it's spelt) as a rear gunner and was literally leaving a trail of bodies behind me lol, I think that's only available in the DLC new maps which you may or may not have, depending on wether or not you have took the plunge lol

Ha good effort. Do have those tanks in the standard game, don't really use tanks/horses much. I like the planes but not very good at staying alive lol

We played the other night on the oil of empires operations. Guy on their team ended up being 72-0. Was in artillery truck at the back of the map and then rge dreadnought. They lost easily

I try the artillery truck, but I don't seem to be as good as some. I always give away my position lol

Need to get good in a bomber, put the torpedo bombs on and flatten the c**t.

Next DLC is due in August/Sept, but two new maps will be out soon.

The new DLC will be called In the name of the Tsar

I got bored with the game there and for a few days I've been on Fallout 4, not quite the same satisfaction from it as on BF1

This game takes the piss now. For the past couple of nights, I try and join an Operations game. The first always seems to be laggy as hell, totally unplayable. I leave, try and join another - after enduring the standard BF1 loading times (about a week per server iirc) it's ALWAYS an empty server.

EA are such a shower of shite, it's unreal
