if i were to have it done id go to ktec after, and buy a quaife diff. i think it would be fun! thing is, for 7k or so, and value of clio, you could go buy a decentish evo 7!!

steves is ok, the gearbox cant cope with the 261bhp it has though, its already eaten 3rd gear(by that i mean the syncros are feckered)

But yes its mighty impressive.

Your better off going down the headwork and TB route and hopefully achieve 230BHP which i imagine is useable...ask Fred..

yh i had mine done at bbpt
really reliable so far so good.
like dan says it eaten 3rd!
also just had an engine mount completley go so that dont help the change!
the only prob with bbpt i could say was one the price was a bit steep
and two they use a log turbo manifold instead of using a longer tubular one .
but im sure they have a reason why.

really though why do people say TB's and superchargers are the way forward? why? if your still gonna stick more power in it isnt gonna strengthen the gearbox anymore its stupid someone seriously needs to make a f*ckiing good box and clutch so we can push to 400bhp and no go *good golly miss molly me gearbox is f*cked*

if you spend a bit on evo 7...then clio would have a big problem.but the thing is clio turbo is rare thats why impresses more i think

yh its stripped.
just got rid of the k-tec roll cage now!
got some buckets going in the back with harneses
also going to put some nice retrim in the rear
and mybe put some rear speakers in.

thats abit of weight ur putting in there stevey but i'm only saying that as i dont like seeing buckets in the back, i have buckets in mine cobreau carreras in all black there the sex really but i want some cobra misano's now

Just to add to Steve172-250 said. Ive had alot done by bb tuning and the guys really do know their stuff. They featured heavily at the french car show with a newly developed 182turbo which is running currently around 270bhp.
Obviously the 2.0litre (172*182)clio were not build for turbo conversions but with bb tuning technology they have adapted the cars so they can handle the power and as we all know a massive advantage of having a turbo is that it can be upgraded.
I just think the appeal of having adump valve go off where others dont expect it is really cool if your into that sort of thing lol

i think the main thing is were all into our renaults tey may be french but were all int making them go fast and no matter which way people go about it shouldnt matter i mean there all putting more power into the same engine in the end?
maybe someone shud make a company to do stuff were the clio lacks?

i've just mailed carbon creations with pics and specs of my car as i say they dont do renaults yet and i've told them i'm eager in having bootskin,roof, diff vent bonnet and wings made up

i think fcs shud be one great big group hug
