bee sting aerials reduce quality?

is it true bee sting aerials reduce the quaility of ur radio signals? or jus a myth?

Yup most bee sting aerials loose a lot of reception.

As mentioned the Civic aerials are quite good but still not perfect. You can find some bee sting aerials that have amplified bits in them but are costly.

ive got a tiny aerial, and for most areas the reception is crap. however all major routes are fine

True - it is totally crap with a bee sting but does look loads better than the factory 3 ft effort. Get a CD changer or MP3 player thus eliminating the need for a radio all together!

i dnt normally use the radio anyway but i mite need it when the traffic annoucuments come on
