The MAF sensor can be seen in this video:
, it should be clean and also tight if it wiggles every time your engine shudders it will move about. if its loose as in the video zip tie it after cleaning.
Oh and I'm sure you would have mentioned this but if your temperature gauge doesn't go to the third notch it might have a stuck open thermostat which also causes performance issues.
essentially these three things are what every 200 owner should do when they first get their car.
