LOL Well what can I say - got someone I knew that fitted alarms to look at my car. He got the car going but the battery had been out for over 1- hour (Rhys) and was fully charged when I tested it so that doesnt seem to be the problem. He then took the top off the dashboard and disconnected the alarm/immobiliser so it wouldnt happen again.
I thought I would test this theory out tonight and went ofr a spin - stopped at blockbuster - with the engine still running I turned the lights off - at that exact point the engine reved by itself and I lost all power - everything. So its dead sitting outside blockbuster!
