Before the Dephaser is done...

  Clio 182
before i spend a tonne of cash on having the dephaser done and all the other bits that go with it, what would be my other options?

Is there different cams i can run with fixed pulleys, would it be cheaper to buy another engine that's already had the work done and just swap out the engine?

I dont want to go ahead with the job and after its done fine some performance mod i could of done for cheaper which gets rid of the dephaser and Ive wasted my time.

Appreciate your advice guys.

Just get the belts and dephaser done then keep on top of oil changes. And it will last a good while.

You could put cams in whilst the belts are off but the cost of fitting, cams , belts ,dephaser and mapping will be up near £1500 and you still have the dephaser.u
