I recall seeing a post a while ago that said something along the lines of £850, but I've no idea whether VAT was involved. Then there's fitting and set up. Maybe someone can confirm?

PMSL!!!!!! Thats well funny. I remember thejesus MAJORLY bigging these up. Just goes to show eh??!!! TUV stuff FTW!!!!

Nah, it just goes to show who's bed you lie in. If there's a supplier problem and they dont work then compaing a broken set to a working set is pretty pointless wouldn't you agree? If however you wanted to see a perfect working version then sadly the only available set were on Andy's demo car. I've driven it on road and track and it's s**t hot, so while it's unfortunate that Andrew and Neal had problems with them, it doesn't mean the working set aren't s**t hot. If they were s**t they wouldn't have wanted them to begin with, just a shame the supplier fucked Andy over and Neal's an.... 7. Anybody would think everyone is Walter Rohl on here. Christ I bet nearly all of you couldn't tell the difference between them all anyway!

I wish your mellow out or grow up. Have you not realised no-one cares yet!!

Leave it please. Comments like that cause more trouble.
I'd rather others didn't get involved and left it to us to sort out.

Must admit I'm very interested in the AST's, am I right in thinking the cost is around £1k?

They are about 750 plus vat i believe for the AST's. Call curtis to get a defo answer at powerstation :) They are more than the H&R's but then again they should be as they offer more!!! simple as that. They more flexible for track than the H&R's as u have that adjustment which to me was important as im sure it is to alot of others too but dont want something that is only track based equipment. Ive have been totally happy with them so far with absolutely no problems at all and should be improved even more soon with the addition of the solid top mounts(4-5 weeks) The full setup from powerstation including shocks, setup, fitting, etc etc is approx 1250-1300 inc vat i believe but dont hold me to that. But as im sure your aware that those extra cost are goin to be on top of any coilovers you buy as you do need a professional to set them up etc to get the best out of them. Obviously you will save money if you fit them yourself. I would of said in the end that they would work out at approx 200-250 more than the H&R's fitted and setup etc so not exactly loads more!!! :) maybe less??

Brilliant - great info. Thanks! Whilst the all out track set ups are very tempting in theory - in reality it's always a compromise and my car does need to be useable on the roads.

  Not a poxy Renault
FYI, I e-mailed curtis about the AST's, the price is £850 + VAT (£999) Also enquired about their solid top mounts and the eta is looking at about a months time, no price yet though.
