best air filter??????confused.com!

Ive got a second generation k&n induction kit fited on my 182!it was already fitted when i bought the car!
some say its good???? sounds good!!!
some say its bad!!!! lose power!!!
the only other mod ive got is a scorpion with decat pipe!
which way should i go???

So how do we know what you need? :S

Well the K&N probably won't share anything with the standard setup. Look in the for sale section mate, put a post in the wanted section and visit local scrappies. Should get one with the two standard pipes for around £20 - £30. You need the own box, the two screws to mount it, the hose to the inlet plenum and the two hoses. And then a choice of air filter.
