uniroyal rain experts are pretty good, personally i use uniroyal rainsport 2's in summer and winter tyres on crappy alloys in winter, last 3-4 seasons that way, well worth it!
my mate is on the rainexperts just now though and they seem to cope ok with snow, but you cant beat dedicated winter tyres when it gets below 7
at the moment i have just fitted 4 bridgestone re050 and they seem brilliant dry and wet,not had snow here yet tho so couldnt coment on that one!
but these bridgestone are highly recommended by me
I would buy some cheap t1r's for the summer and also a cheap set of winter tyres if on a budget. I'm not a fan of compromises when it comes to traction/handling
