Best free forum software?

Hello!

Been messing about with my online stuff. Managed to put together an e-commerce site but now im interested in how forums work. More to fart about more than anything. Nothing serious what so ever.

This is ran on vbulliten but you have to pay for that. As this isn't serious id just like a free one, so has anyone got any reccomendations

I used to use phpBB but that was quite a while ago, might be better ones out there now.
