Best free video editing software?

Just wondering what's the best out for PC as Windows 7 doesn't even have Movie Maker any more Not after anything fancy just the basics really.

i've got windows 7 and i've used Windows Movie Maker. Used it to put game footage on YouTube

What the hell, where is it?

in your search field in the bottom, type in windows and it'll bring up Windows Live Movie Maker
