just rang my insurance company and declared the remap, coilovers, grooved discs, ebc yellow pads, s/s exhaust and tints,
and guess how much extra they charged? ........................

fecking hate insurance time of the year! they either dont cover NI,charge over 1.5k or dont like my exhaust that makes little to no difference!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greenlight were the same for my mate's gti remap, 200-245bhp and no extra.

i'm sure it depends on how that person you ring up is feeling as mine went up loads with greenlight when i quoted for exhaust alloys and induction kit

greenlight don't charge for modifications, providing the engine remains the same. They just charge the £25 admin fee.

Ive found brentacre are the best for mods. Everything is free to add to your policy i.e. no admin charge. You can do whatever you like to your car upto a certain agreed BHP and because they are a small company they also seem to have the personal touch over the phone.

Just to throw my 2 cents. I declared tints and k-tec exhasut and price only went up by a few quid with admiral.

agreed...also with brentacre, nobody else came close on the quotes or personal service!
