Best pads for standard brakes?

For fast road use Mintex M1144 are very good. If you want to track it then i'd use CL Brakes RC5+. Ferrodo are good too though I would only fit the DS2500 as the track ones (DS3000) produce more dust and noise.

I'm using Mintex 1144's on the Puma, along with Red-dot discs it makes a huge different over the OEM - although the standard Puma brakes are useless compared with the Clio's.

I cooked my OE pads once after just 4-5 miles of nailing it. it was summer though, on other occasion they held up well after 10 miles of hard uphill going, however there were about 10 degrees outside. Saying that I went for the ds2500. Only wanted something that could withstand any situation even if I'm not doing track days
