I had the smt6, Andy told me to tell the insurance company it's a 'Fuel Regulator'...:rasp:

NO I DID NOT!!!

I suggested you call it a Fuel correction device to help get the correct fuel mixture for safe engine performance.

haha, because the Omex allows ultimate control for most of the vehicle systems ;)

Get that clay bar out...LOL

BTW - stick with the turinis its the best car colour / wheel combination of all the clios.

ditto! ross how does the mani feel compaired to stock,? did u ever just run this mod with no others or did it come with ur cams, omex etc?

  Audi A6 (S3 on order)
My manifold ? on my car last time I checked. Some more little power increases will come with exhaust and some work on the airbox to TB linkage. 225ish would be nice as the most I've seen from an NA car is 222 from one of Bens TB conversions (yellow clio)

Then we go for silly power ;)

LOL - Ross wheres you manifold.....and your 225+hp....

Wink.

Was done at the same time as cams and omex. It was a load of work for Ben and I am not sure he fancies doing any more (stage 2)

DidntYozzas engine make 225 on the dyno, which is far more reliable than a RR figure.

Dyno figures are very reliable. People are not.

But lets not start that argument again eh ;)

I always discuss never argue...

When you getting your fancy manifold.?

  Audi A6 (S3 on order)
Never said you'd be the one to argue ;) moving on...

Exhaust first, starts development in 2-3 weeks. I think AWT will sell a few of these.

New inlet manifold after that. I need to decide whether or not I want to stay NA or not though.

yeah full custom map including raised rev limit IE whatever you want, can controll cams etc etc keep an eye on the site, i'll be releasing full details over the next few days

  Mazda 3 MPS Mk1
does this mean with a modified mani, de cat 182 manifold etc etc you can map it as well as the SMT6??

Oh and who's doing it?

  GDI Demo 182, Rsi Spider
if you have got an SMT already its been done,

no point raising the rev limit if your looking for more power either, unless you have a set of cams that are going achieve that.

std fast road cams and std cams make peak power at circa 6500

Andy.

the advantage with the SMT is a remapping cost is significatly lower than the initial installation cost... so further changes are much less expensive.

  Lionel Richie
raised rev limit really helps on track though, its a shame the SMT can't raise the rev limit, otherwise it would be perfect, but its still a fantastic bit of kit

Anything like that take it to Ben or Andy at GDI ( as you have already ) there work is carried out to an exceptionally high standard - even though they are all gay ;)

hahahahahahaha sorry, that made me piss myself!!

Andy / yoz,

si i have 182 manifold, No cat, Straight thru exhaust, Reno sport ECU, IG Filter, and am looking to get inlet mani done asap, worth getting the SMT6 yet or not???
Will the gains be particularly cost effective or am i better off waiting?

(waiting till im rich and can offard the cams and TB's lol)

  GDI Demo 182, Rsi Spider
Dave, if your going for Throttle bodies I would wait... but it does depend how soon.

If you just going to have cams and manifold match then the SMT is the way to go..

The SMT cant control full ITB's

The R-Sport is not going to give you the fueling you need to handle or make the best of Manifold work or Cams
