best results with which de-cat pipe help

Im running a scorpion cat back system and i want a de-cat pipe. would it be best for overall performance/sound etc to fit a scorpion de-cat pipe or go for a ktec/BBPT? Will it actually be of any benefit?improved sound, throttle response maybe?

Dont think the make makes any difference. Iv just put mine back on today, sounds so much better with it. Especially at low revs.

the make of it isnt going to make much differance to power some are better made than others though, the hillpower one is well made its not stainless though

Got a magnex which I believe is S/S and is a match for the rest of the system. Not just a straight through pipe either as I think it is designed to look like a cat to fool MOT inspectors.

Will find out if it works on thursday when my MOT is booked. Hopefully the emissions wont be too high !!!

Think there is a magnex for sale on board at £40.

Dont think they look at it mate

It f**ks up your Emissions not having a cat. Dont think they care what it looks like as long as it passes emissions. But it wont without a cat.

I have a hill power decat pipe!

Yup, have a free retest within 2 weeks so hopefully it will only be the emissions at fault if it does fail on anything.

De-cats arent an exact science, its only a straight through pipe after all. Sound will be much improved im sure but performance will little or none. Most modern cats arent very restrictive.

Mine passed without a cat . 93K plate. nothin went near my exhaust at the test centre though hehe.
