Best solution for getting rid of dead bugs

Anyone got any suggestions ot tips of what i can go buy or use to take dead bugs off the front of my and off my wing mirrors and bottom of my bonnet.

I have scrubbed and scrubbed with chamois, microfiber cloths and hot soapy water ect and they just wont budge.

Sounds like what you're doing is likely to inflict plenty of scratches and swirls, so try not to do that anymore.

First off is the car wax or sealed in any way? will give us an idea if we ned to consider wax safe products or not. Also if it is wax or sealed the bugs should come off easier.

initial responce would be to look at autofinesse citrus power. Spray on, leave to dwell a few minutes and you should be able to use a wash mitt or fine detailing brush to easily remove. If it's small areas such as wing mirrors, I use a warm damp cloth and lay it over the affected area for a few minutes it should come off with a gentle wipe. Do this with me motorbike helmet and works everytime.

When it comes to any painted surface "scrubbing" is never a good idea. Scrubbing should be kept for the likes of wheel arch linings only pretty much. There are plenty of pre-wash solutions out there that will aid the safe removal of bug splatter, Autofinesse Citrus power is certainly a good place to start as stated by Dave. You should only really need to slightly agitate once left to dwell, if not removed fully simply repeat process until the whole splatter has been broken down and removed.

plus like dave has already touched on, is the car waxed/sealed? If not this is partly the reason for struggling to remove them pesky bugs. A sealed/wax surface will make the splatter a lot harder to stick to thus making the removal of such grime a lot easier and needless to say, a lot safer

Thanks for the comments. Really helpful. The car is vinyl wrapped and from what i have been told it can have wax applied to it.

I think once i have gotten rid of all the bugs just now. Ill probably give the car a good decent wax hopefully as you say it will help prevent the bugs etc sticking to it.

Thanks for the help

When washing have the water as hot as you can stand and hold it in place over the bugs for a few seconds.

Or, what you can actually see is etched outlines of dead bugs, you can't clean those off! I have some :(
