Best sub box design

I've just bought a fairly slim 8" sub to go behind my drivers seat. So the box it will go into will be smaller than it really wants to be.

If the box is smaller than it sould be with it be better if the box was sealed or ported.

Just read that it'll only want 11-17l of sealed volume so i should get away with 15cm x25cm x35cm box.

That gives me 13l.
