Best way to get more power?!

  Clio sport 182 cup
Hi there iv got a 182 trophy which has been mapped with the 98ron map with rstuner and a full stainless miltek exhaust. Looking for a bit more power and wondered what suggestions anyone has? Looking to spend up to £500 for just now

Strip it out? might feel more powerful.

as far as I am aware these engines are pretty far tuned already so dont think there is anything you could get that would make a substantial difference without spending loads. decent air filter making sure it isnt soaked by the heat!

For £500 you'd be better making it handle better. £500 for power mods will see you with very little extra.

  2005 clio 182
You have to enjoy it for what it is, ive come from a 320bhp leon cupra r to a clio 182, straight line speed theres no comparison, but the 182 has just enough useable power, and is the best handling car ive driven, the cupra r was a beast, but come out of a roundabout and you'd be wheel spinning and over steering everywhere, you can just chuck the clio in and throw it out the other side .
if your chasing big power then it is worth just selling the car and buying something quicker out the box

Clios are about average speed. This requires you to be a good driver to maintain the corner speeds it's capable of. Not ideal on the road but great fun on the track. It never surprises me that people leave Clios for turbo fodder so that they have a sneaky boot when no-ones looking or have something to prove on the local dual carriagewsys. A 10 mile back road blast is more likely to get you nicked or worse injure yourself or someone else :p
