best way to protect from rust

Just Fitted a new subframe and have sanded it down to the bare metal so theres not one bit of rust on it now. What are the best primers / top coats / rust protections to use now and what order.

i was thinking of seam sealant 1st then a primer then a top coat of Hammerite UnderSeal. But have no idea what to put on before it.
