Looking to get some nice 4 pots to go at the back of my 16"speedline turini's.

I have seen an advert on piston heads of a trophy for sale with these fitted which is pictured below.

What im looking to find out is what size of disc i can go with the speedline turini's.
There is a choice of 300mm or 325mm discs.

Below you will also see the colour and set up im looking to get.

Tbh, i dont think youll get 325mm brakes under 16" wheels!!

i have 285mm discs under my 15" wheels, and its a very snug fit! (i cant even have my front wheels weighted where the brakes are because theres about 2mm gap!)

you're trying to get an extra 40mm of brakes under (theoretically) 12.7mm of extra wheel space!!

HOWEVER that completely depends on the shape of the wheels, and the shape of the callipers!

You can get them weighted, they just need to be creative where they put em!

problem with hispec (and many other brake kits) is the pad size is smaller than oe, yes the more pistons is a good thing, but using smaller pads is a bit backwards IMO

i run the same brakes on my track car and theyre good, but 5 hard laps at bedford even with Mintex F4 series pad = no brakes

I recently got some Wilwood 4 pots and am running them with custom made Pagid Blue's. Definitely cannot complain!

Fred is right though. By my rough measurement, I figured out the OE pad has ~11% greater surface area.
