Bigger engines

seem to see a few people talking to others about putting bigger engines in, do they take suspension, and more importantly brake upgrades into this?

i.e 2.0 into 1.2s etc

just wondering what thoughts were on this is all, as it looks like people are all about "go" power rather than "slow" power?

I know what you mena but often they hae uprated brakes and suspension anyway. Anyway what sounds better 200hp or a racing suspension setup in the bragging rights . (Well Im talking about others view mine the suspension all the way)

Cause there is some pride to be taken in saying, yeah this was my first car, started out as a little 1.4 with 80bhp, now its pushing more like 180

And its the dream to blow away some big rep mobile beamer at the lights

Example is that Mk2 orangey coloured one, totally standard body, still has black bumpers and hub caps.

Inside is stripped with one seat, two bottles of NOS and theres a 172 engine hiding in there. With NOS its over 270 bhp.

Ultimate traffic light weapon.

Dunno what it drives, handles or stops like though!

didnt seem to have any probs with it on the mway back from york mate.....with bits of brakin etc ..............but we werent really thrashin it on the twisties cos it was pissin down so dunno bout how it handles lol..........wouldnt be surprised to see the cup susp under it soon tho..........and brakes lol
