Biggest drop?

Hello, new to the fourm so it might be a stupid common asked question, but what is the lowest drop i can have without scraping arches, rubbing etc, on a set of 17's

on 17's probably not alot. Ive measure mine and its down about 110mm on the front and 80mm on the rear. im on lots of spacers and camber and only get a small amount of rubbing on the front on full lock. on 15's. on a mk3 i'd personally go for 16's for a big drop

Mk3's drop ok on 17's don't they? There's a few folks running kw coilies on mk3's that are pretty low.
Are we talking springs or coilovers here? What are you looking for?

i was thinking a 40mm drop and 17's. sounds like a small drop but i dont think it is. i just wanted to know if thats ok, and if soo how much lover can you go, and Springs for now.
