Biggest turbo What is it

Ive got pictures at work of the turboes of the 19.9 liter engine articulated trucks used in the US (there were quite a few built they were put into massive production as they were very very poweful and few operators need them). The standard power is 750hp with hydrolic tapets (there are a few version but 750hp is the most they made stock). Thats one big turbo but the tunning companies over them tune them for £10k to 1000hp at the wheels with no reliablity problems.

There are bigger turboes used I think in supercharged ship instalations but on the road use from a production road legal standpoint there must be the biggest turbos.

PS this 19.9 liter engine is used in Europe in a few trains but typical US style they go and drop them in trucks.

and how much power does that give it........they aint exactly under powered as standard!

I think the titanic had a sort of turbo, in as far as it used the steam pressure from the exhaust of the two main engines to spin a third central engine.
