Biggest wheels on a 172

Just wondering whats the biggest size wheel that can comfortably fit under the standard 172 arches?
Who has the biggest on here?

Seen some 19" Super Ls at my mates work today!

R-tec had an unlowered one on 19s.

Well R-tec said it was a straight fit, if you worked the arches a bit they reckoned a -40mm drop is possible..im not sure what the equivalent would be on a base model.

lol, sorry. You would have no handling or ride with 19s at all, defeating the object of owning a Cup, fair enough if you take it to shows it would look cool but as a permanent addition..dont.

yeah, thinking of having a set for posing while keeping the originals as well and some 15s with cut slicks for tracks and 1/4 miling.

I didnt think they make 4x100 PCD 19inch SuperLs????? My mate has 19inch SuperLs on his Golf (5stud) £1500!!!!!!!!
