Bilstein and rear camber

right this is namely for fred to answer unless someone has the same setup, wanting to go for the bilstein bs9 coilovers but wondering about the rear camber shims, if i increase the camber out will the increase my over steer?

and fred how much total for the coilovers both shims and uprated front bushes?

i'll price it up for you

there's a million things that can affect oversteer

the main ones are toe, camber and how hard the rear setup is

with the shims we have you can adjust track width, toe (in or out) and camber (upto 8deg neg!)

well at the mo i have more not to much over or under but i'm wanting more over as when pushed my front always goes first, i just want the back to look more fat gona look into smoe road legal slicks aswell just try and get a really good setup before doing my brakes

Sort the front end first and run more camber.

yea waiting on fred to give me prices for the lot to uprate the bushes i have the camber bolts just cant remember where i've put them!

The wider you run your rear track the more understeer you get, same with negative camber to a point where you start reducing the contact patch.

Harder rear damping/spring/tyre pressures will increase oversteer, so will a softer front.

Its all about weight shift and controlling it.

right so i shud start by maybe slighty increasing back tyre pressures and space the wheels further out, how can i harden the rear more? i have 60mm springs at the mo but obv going to coilovers

no, a wider rear = more understeer, not less.

To stiffen up the rear you have to buy adj shockers and play with spring rates.
