Does anyone know about the 2nd edition of gearbox that they fitted to all 197's after build week 41?
My R27 is build number 135 but its only just registered now for me as the first owner, so how the hell do you know which build week it was made on or if yours is the old or new spec?

Go to the dealer you bought it from....they will have the gearbox number, engine number, etc on their database.

They'd be able to tell you which cars had the newer box and if yours is included. I'd imagine its gonna be on all the cars built AFTER the run of R27's tho....

Its all the numbers after about 410 i think the new boxs came in.

i very much doubt that yours has the later revised box in it tbh... take it the car has been sat somewhere for a little while?
