bizarre unlocking & clock problem this am

Hi all,

I had a strange problem with my car this morning.

The key fob wouldnt unlock the car and I had to unlock it manually (alarm went off as a result which only deactivated after a few clicks on the key).

Once in the car I noticed the clock had reset to 00:00 but the radio still had its stations programmed in.

There were no warning lights lit on the dash. From this and the fact that everything is now working I assume no fuses have blown.

The key fob now seems to be working as Ive locked and unlocked the car several times today without any problems.

Any idea what the problem could be? Water ingress into the electricals somewhere?

Battery problem Id say.

The radio doesnt need electrical power to remeber the radio station in its memory.
