Black centre cap key

Bit of a random one but basically I lost the black key for undoing to the centre cap on my 2003 172.

So the Mrs popped into Renault to get a replacement thinking it wouldn't be too pricey. Apparently they don't sell those keys anymore so you have to buy the new one with four new bolts too, for the sum of £22!!

Is that correct or are they talking sh!te to a female?

Seems a bit steep to me as people must lose those keys all the time, then again maybe that's their point!

yep thats right they changed the design of them a few years back.i had to sit with a set of needle nosed pliers to get some old ones off!

Well that's a bit bent of Renault but not entirely surprising.

My Mrs did actually buy the new bolts and key but hasn't fitted them in case I wanted to take it back.

Ebay about £6 if Renparts can't help. If not long nose pliers.
