Black Mk3 Ph2

Just picked up the clio today.

Its a 10 plate Dynamique, only a 1,2 though saving up for a deposit for a flat, otherwise would have probably went for a 200 or a megane 225.

Need a bit of help sourcing parts.

Firstly im looking at 20mm spacers & 35mm lowering springs. Dont want the car too low otherwise id get coilovers.

Can anyone recomend the springs/spacers they have ? or know of a reliable place to get them ?

Also looking for wind deflectors and a subtle wee spoiler, nothing like the huge Cup one!! lol

35 mm drop on these is barely noticable , there like monster trucks to start out , i have 35 mm at the minute and its subtle if you want it to look lowered as such id go for 45 mm or just save and get the coilovers tbh hope you enjoy the car though you dont seem to see many around that have been modified as such

Want the arch to sit about 30/35mm off the tyre, not too low... Would 45mm springs work for this ?

Also looking for pre-cut tints, sport mats with clips (to stop them sliding about) and sport pedals. Has anyone got these in their dynamique ?

Also looking to fit and armrest at some point. Could i get one from renault and does anyone know how much it would be?

Tbh i would stick with 35 mm springs if you dont want it to low

I have 35mm apex springs and they smarten it up Alot and not too low! I havnt botherd with spacers as it
only makes the handling worse in my oppinion, i have a set of mats of ebay with the renault sport logo embroided on with a red trim from memory i paid under £50, i also have a k-tec sprint spoiler which is perfect in my eyes!!! Really finishes of the back end off but is abit pricey :/,

Also there is the k-tech sprint spoiler which is nice
and the wheels are 17" so they might fill out the arches abit more on mine if you only have 16"s

Do ph2 sit lower in the first place ? Because im sure mine doesnt sit that low and ive got the same springs , car looks nice though mate

thats exactly how i want mines to sit!!

I only have the 16" wheels but surely it wouldnt look too different to yours in the archers would it ? :\

Spoiler looks class! but cant justify spending 180 for it from ktec !

Also does anyone have any idea how much phase 2 projector headlamps cost from Renault ?

And how do i upload pics here ?
Do i need to stick them on a site then link the url ??

i have the mk3 ph1 and mine is on a 45mm drop and is on 15's i need some 16's on it to fill the arch abit i like big wheels on little cars look abit silly,
just to show how much lower 45mm makes...

im not sure if the ph2 sits lower in the first place as mine was like this when i bought it..

and the way i put pictures on is, make a photobucket account and put the photos on that then copy the 'img code' onto the post and it shows up as a picture ,
i want a set of projecters aswell

aye i just been looking at it tbh mate yours looks nice the way its sat but just thinking the extra 10mm makes loads of different i know it sounds stupid but it really does aha i like your wheels like you should get a white lip instead of the red one you will see it more

i probably would go for the 45mm but i dont want any troule with the wheels scraping the arches when people are sat in the back and you go round quite sharp corners.

if you keep them on stranded shocks the back nearly hit there bump stops so the back is stiff, i will get a couple of pics of how mine sits on 15's then you just need to think your wheels are abit bigger

Hmm think ill just stick with my 35's haha as i dont think there alot stiffer than stanndard but stop it from rolling alot in corners and keep it planted to the road nicely

Trust me when i say they are far stiffer lol when driving you dont really notice but as a passanger you definately notice , but i woudnt worry about wheels scraping etc the arches are huge ive had a car full on numerous occasions and no problems at all

Think im going to go for the 35mm just now, could always get the 45mm later on if the 35s not enough.

Forgot to mention, would like the GT/world series side skirt aswell soon.. has anyone here bought one and could tell me how much they are alone ?
Cant find any seperate without buying a full kit.

How does the wheel insert fit ? Does it just clip on ?
Also how much were ur spacers and where did u get them from ?

The insert comes in two parts and it screws together with one screw in the back part.

bought the RS wheel insert & wind deflectors today along with some silver indicator bulbs!

Plans are to get the car lowered, tinted windows, rs door badges, spoiler, side skirts and spacers on the back.

Anyone got any others ideas to consider :O?

I will do mate cheers and I got them off a bloke on heir who had a world series they were brand new as he bought a spear set that he never used.. The skirts are 200 new from Renault pluss vat ask west Renault on eyah bud and I'll try nag get you more pics tomorrow or Sunday

I got some door sills off the Lockwood website and I think the look great they are chrome with a mk3 silhouette on them and they really tidy the door shuts up I'll get a picture for you
