Black photo border

How do you put that nice thickish black border around photos?

I see so many like this and i'm wondering whats a quick way to do it. I have PS.

Photoshop Action for me.

or if you have loads do File > Automate > image processor then apply the action to lots of pics.

Increase the canvas (alt+ctrl+c) size by 2 to 5 pixels and change the new cavas colour to black. Voila.

Or you can use the Stroke function in photoshop.

^^ which eats into the image.. That is fine if you are not worried about loosing 5px around the edges.
