Another small write up for CS, I wouldn't normally bother dependent on time but it was such an awesome car I had to take some pics. Sadly the afters are poor as the owner was in a rush to Sunday dinner!
3000 miles from new, a mass of options, HUD being very cool. Paintwork in decent condition but lacking a bit of gloss, at times this can be a colour problem, like Basalt Black on the Porsche blacks can sometimes be too shimmery imo, they lack the deep look of a jet black or one with less certain metallics in it.
Anyway usual process, g101 and smart wheels, Tradis, IX, Zaino soft clay (perfect for quite a new car). Apart from the Zaino clay it's a combo and one I haven't deviated from in a long time now!

Now either the 5 series has this issue or it's an M5 problem, etching on the bootlid where the water pools over time. The owner is less than impressed and it will come to a stage where the etching will become difficult to polish out.

CarPro reset and Supernatural sponge. Trying a lot of different shampoos just now!

Sheeting the water to try and avoid any contact with drying apparatus. Compressor and jet used for intricate areas once inside. The onlt real mark I could find was on the bonnet, seems to look deeper in the picture than it was.

Apologies about the lack of afters and shocking backdrop, time went against me.
Bonnet shot was prior to any LSP and just after polishing.

Paint was polished with Menzerna 106fa and a mixture of pads. Glass sealed with CarPro Forte. Tyres with megs endurance and a spray of CarPro Perl, seems to spread so much better and give a great finish.
LSP was Zaino Z2 base and Britemax Vantage, wiiped down with Bouncer's Done & Dusted. The best QD on the market at the moment imo.
Thanks for taking the time to look in!
