Blackberry 8700G what do you think ?

I saw it yesterday on the train a man had it and it looked really sleek and smart as he was going thorugh his messages.

But always get the saying from people they are for business people and thats what im not im a electrician but it looks really good and the features are great.

Do you think its to big to have as your mobile.

I know people will say my opinion is the one that counts but would like some opinions on it.

Im thinking of getting one from ebay tonight

just looks like theres a lot going on with it. i prefer sleek simple exterior designs. if it opened up into a keyboard then fair enough, but it just looks messy i think

mate are you going to use it for email? If you are not mate i would not bother getting it because you need to pay for the email service which also includes internet browsing. If you dont pay for the email service it will not allow you to access the internet as you need service books on the handset and the only way that you can get them is buy paying for the email service. Best mobile you can get if you are going to use it for e-mail. I work with these all day long.

Can i just use it as a normal phone without getting charged for emails and internet ?

tbh if you're not using them for email then no point in them, get a windows mobile device instead Although saying that I must prefer using my WM device to a BB for email for many reasons

Got one landing on my desk tomorrow so will have a play with it while I set it up fo rthe chap who is having it.

Mate if you are not going to use it for email no point it getting it, its going to be a waste to you and you will get a message on the handset saying data packet access missing or something along them lines... You could always get a windows based mobile phone, but what would you use it for? get a simple but nice phone like the Sony K800i good phone.

I just got a k800 on vodafone. (vodafone family)

I've also got an n80 which I liked a lot, apart from the random crashes/freezing - which got 1000% better after the firmware update, but still occur!

Since getting the k800 on Tuesday it's like a breath of fresh air, much prefer it to the n80. Really impressed considering the last SE phone I had was utter shite.

Just got an email and i can collect the blackberry i want tonight but its locked to 02 im on orange and would need it unlocked tonight.

£100 but i said 370 and i will collect as i will need it unlocked and it wont be cheap

Anywhere i can get it done ?
