Being the trusting boyfriend I have come to terms with the ladyfriend driving my car from time to time. Slowly she has got used my cars speed and ability (172 cup) compared to her 1.3 peewee Ford Ka.

Last night she managed to squeeze into the tightest carpark space ever and considering the cars turning circle I sang her praises. It wasnt until we left the space when it all went wrong!..........

Not only did she hit the kerb at quite a pace, she also managed to proceed forward kurbing a good 25% of the alloy. I felt almost sick as all of my wheels have no previous kurbing. Despite hanging my head in shame...

Do I...........

A) Tell her its ok, worst could of happen and I still love you.

B) Here is a file, get to work smoothing that wheel you B.... !

C) Buy her a brand new 16" oz turino alloywheel for her
christmas present.....

C my pet hate, my missus did a 75% scrap on one of my 172 wheels, wasn't impressed.

My wife has scuffed both front alloys on my(ours) 182, I refuse to get angry with her, even though I can't understand how you can't see the kerb that many times! Still it's only a wheel and can be replaced!

No way is mine going aware near my 172, although she has got a 206 gti, and the 16" alloys on that are relatively unmarked! Just saves arguements!

I let my ol man drive my v6 and he kerbed thhe wheel all the way round, cheeky git tried to blame it on me until i moved the car and there was half the alloy stuck to the kerb. Lost my rag abit but felt abit guilty afterward as he paid to get it repaired, bargain £65, he said was expensive lesson so if someone else kerbs your whell make em pay, trust me they wont do it again, he parks it about 3feet from the kerb now
