Blocking Numbers via iOS 7 and Whatsapp

Hi, basically, I have a few "contacts" I speak to on Whatsapp. They obviously have my phone number.

I kinda wanna make sure they only whatsapp me, not Phone or iMessgae/Text me?

iOS 7 has an option to block numbers, if I block these numbers via iOS 7, can they still whatsapp me?

Yeah, you can still Whatsapp them. Just like you can still call them if you have them blocked but they obviously can't call you back and text messages aren't delivered to the phone.
