Bloody knocking noise...

my car has developed a very annoying knocking noise from the front passenger side... which increases with the speed of the vehicle...

i was told that it was the passenger side driveshaft...which i changed but the noise is still there...

all bearings have been checked...and they seem to be fine...(the vehicle was jacked up off the ground and the wheells were spun)...

the complete underside of the vehicle has also been checked...whilst on a ramp...and everything seems to be tightly screwed together...

any sugestions...?

yeah it does...the noise starts at 5mph...

a mechanic fitted a new driveshaft last week...and the wheel is securely fitted...

yeah i got it from renault...

the noise doesnt really sound like its a metal hitting against metal sound...(e.g. bushes hitting each other)

it sounds as if something is rotating...and every time it goes around it is hitting the body work/the ground etc...
