Blowing exhaust

Ive just had a new cat fitted by the gimps who sold me the car and Ive just been told by an independednt garage that there are no washers on the bolts and no gasket so the friggin thing is blowing.

Until I can face getting it sorted out, is it okay to keep running the car? What does a blowing exhaust cause?

its notthing major....just get them to seal it with some exhaust sealer........

Youll probably notice a loss in power and increased fuel consumption.

But it depends on where in the system it is and how bad it is. At worst youll lose a weeny bit of power and itll be irritating to listen to.
