hi james im in whistable too! it wasnt me i have a sti scoob but will have a 182 soon. did the cup have a silver air hole in the front ? if so its my old cup! a girl got it and not sure if she is on here its got CS stickers witch i add tho/ might not even been mine tho!
Wasn't me but I was in Whistable visiting my Gran the day before and also would have been at the Chestfield roundabout. I've seen quite a few 182s in Canterbury and Thanet.
hey up i dont think it had a silver air intake hole but it would have been hard to see from where i was. There was a clio in renault driveline few months ago with a large cs sticker in the back window tho.
I seem to spot quite a few clio's but never anyone from the forum.
so did i! drivline are a punch of tw&ts! then part x it in for a VX220 at perrys then the girl valeter brought it! my old cup plate was GN53CFO with 2 CS sticker on rear quarter windows!
i did see a silver 182 going down M2 towards whitstable one evening last week! maybe it was you! just b4 the BP garage.
you in whistable? then?JBarber there is another black/gold at drivline now was looking at it but it has no cup packs an i want both recaros would be a bonus!..
no I live near Sandwich but have a lot a family over there. The only problem with recaros is that you get the naff Cup cloth rear seat (although someone on here fitted the leather bench which looked good). I quite like the std FF seats. I've seen quite a few FFs and Cups this way and a trophy in a village near Dover.
Personally I wouldn't go back to Driveline- I don't think they know what they are doing. I got my last service done at the Renault dealer in Margate (£185 inc VAT compared with Driveline who wanted £250 for the same service!)
Had my car since new (June 2005). I quite like it but I think at 3 years I might changes to something bigger. I know it sounds crud but I'm thinking of something like a Skoda vRS estate (with the same engine as the golf GTI). I'll be 35 by then so figure estates are OK
cant be doing with half leather recaros and a cloth bench!:S lol bit of a rip off as they charge more for recaros anyway! think il get a FF and buy the recaro! i think il go private as its just too expensive trade!..i work at a renault specialist in Broadstairs (e-ssuredcarsdirect) they dont like to buy in the sports so no joy there!,
im just getting a clio for a year or so because im selling the scoob.just want to hav a bit of fun at a lower cost!.them skodas are not bad at all mostly VW seat parts so good cars:approve: seen one trophy in canterbury maybe same one!.lots of 182s
I know what you mean, I think you also loose the side airbags with Recaros. I did think of getting a standard wrx when I got the 182 but the insurance and fuel costs put me off. I don't think you get much better than the 182 in terms of "bang per buck".
The vRS reviews seem quite good. Also the misses is nagging about a baby (not that I want a stinky sh*t machine!) so we'll probably need something with more room
The Silver 182 on the m2 going towards whitstable could have been me as i use the shell garage on the other side.
Theres a black 182 driven by a women who must work at the double glazing place near quik fit in whitstable.
I actually work at Pfizer in sandwich and i pass a light blue 182 cup and and inferno orange 182 on a regular basis in the morning.
As for driveline in canterbury i dont know what the service is like i know there expensive. I have a mate who works there whos does my services so i get a good rate
