Blue LED dash refit!!!!

ok i know i have kept this section of CS alive over the last couple of days with different threads . . . . . but who cares :rasp:

me and russ went over to blackpool today in the early hours to meet up with Ben aka jaffa182. this is the lad that first did the Blue led dash conversion and Russ wanted it doing so we pootled on over and here are the results!

heading back we decided to have a pint and a game of pool, little did i know that russ kinda plays well!! resulting in;

btw you cant physically make the next set of lights on green, from the ones outside my house lol, heard the woooooooowwwwww PPOOOOPP as you accelarated then had to brake lol

Where abouts was the spot Jamie? Only bit of motorway I was on today was the M621 and A1-M1 link road.

Looks good! I did mine about 8months ago when I first got the car and there still just as bright, really easy to do too. Would'nt like to do the CC panel though!

Headunit is either red or green, although the needles are going to be red shortly when we figure out how to do it.

Yeah was a good day lads i had a laff too! This is the 3rd set i've done and i get quicker each time i do it!

Big thanx to russ and combine for givin us a hand strippin the dash down, made it alot easier!

As for lookin really young i am 21 (22 in july) and it was 1 of the first question that russ asked me the cheeky bast**d lol. Big thanx for bringin my coilovers with ya! Soon as i get bak off hoilday i'll be fitting them and puttin some pics up.

I can offer this service 2 any 1 with 172/182 sport. I am in the middle of sorting the leds out for the non-sport modles thanx to combine!
