Bluetooth GPS receivers - any recommendations?

Hope this is the correct section in which to post this...

As title please. I'm not a serious trackdayer, but partake when I can, would be nice to record extra info. And it would be great if I could make better use of my phones' capabilities (Android, Samsung Galaxy S3), by recording data to overlay onto my Gopro footage.

After a bit of searching, came across this thread - http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=161817

So, willing to take a punt on Trackmaster for a few quid...but want to be a bit more certain before splashing out on a bluetooth GPS receiver. I'm not very techy (so please keep any responses as layman as possible), but its seems that this is the way to go - heat protective layer in windscreen causes issues, and a dedicated receiver would provide faster responses than my phones' in-built receiver (correct?)

Any thoughts? Do these kind of receivers work ok if attached at the bottom of the windscreen, in the rectangular section left for toll passes? What about battery life, re-charging, etc? Looking for those with experience of such a set-up.

Also, I've never had or used sat-nav - would want this set-up to function for that as well.

Thanks in advance :)

Been doing a bit more digging on Google, with the following results -

Pretty convinced by Trackmaster, looks good.

Will probably take a punt on the Qstarz receiver, but will do some more research (and a bit more pondering).

Would still be good to hear from someone who's actually used a bluetooth gps receiver in their Mk2 Clio - still wouldn't be sure where best to locate it inside, which window? (Sticking it the bottom of the windscreen would look a bit naff, and may get in the way of my Gopro.) Wonder if they would work on a side/rear window (or are those windows too vertical, not providing the best line of sight upwards?)
