Bluetooth Handsfree

Just finished fitting a Parrot CK3000 bluetooth handsfree to the baby. Briliant bit of kit. Put the mic in the interior light fitting behind the little grill at the front, it used the radio speaker so I wired it into the redundant Reno tweeters and the switch fits next to the light dip dial. Small hole drilled in the square panel for the wire (had to cut and reattach the plug.

Basically its invisible cept for the switch (green ohone/red phone).

Just thought Id recommend it, was 90 quid off the net.

depends what you trying to do with the kit, if you want a handsfree kit then the bluetooth ones are great! if you want to charge it as well then get a car charger! very very rare do I have to charge my t610 during an average days use even if i sit in a traffic jam on the bluetooth hands free for a couple of hours.

I only need to charge the 6230 every other day so why would I want to have a wired H/F kit? I keep a 5 quid car charger in the glovebox just in case.

Wired kits are phone specific too, I can use this with any Bluetooth phone.

I dont ever have to use a charger. Makes life so much easier. But youre right if you change your phone between brands on a regular basis then a oem kit is not for you. If you stick to the same brand ie nokia you can just change the mounting bracket.

My aim was to make the kit invisible with the minimum amount of drilling and I didnt want to have a cradle clutering up the car. This way I leave the phone in its case or in my pocket.

Ah, I have this kit too.. its awesome.

Activate Bluetooth on phone, get near car it connects - sorted..

I messed around with mic position etc.. and found best on the A-Pillar.. switch is next to the headlight adjustment on Williams.

Glad you like it!
