BMW M5 clutch???? help!!

I've just been for a drive in an 2001 M5 at work. Gave it plenty of large, now the thing wont got into gear! stinks of clutch. Will it be ok when it cools down??

pmsl, the clutches are notorious on these for wearing out if you give them too much stick... tbh it sounds like you have killed it... dont think they are too cheap to sort either, but your best bet is to sign up on an E39 forum and find out mate

Just driven it again, Bit better now, goes in gear and pulls ok ish........ oh well. I've parked it up ready for the driver to come and get it to take it away. Fingers crossed it'll be ok for the moment!!

Cheers. My mate has now said he drove it and tried to get it to spin up going along jumping up and down on the clutch.
No wonder its fucked.

ive just had the software update on my clutch and cdv.. before that is was cronic.. sticking, jumping etc
