bonnet alarm switch

as above really...mine is missing :S are these a common fault and its been removed for that?
alarm seems to work fine but obviously bonnet isnt alarmed

I had to take mine off when I removed the bumper (was the most difficult part of the job).
Could just have been lost/broken at some point when the bumper has been removed for belts etc and not replaced. Not aware of any known faults with them.

I disconnected mine because the connections were corroded... every time it rained the bloody alarm went off. Oddly it only ever went off at about 3am which reeeeeally P***ed off the neighbours.... not a peep since

FYI

If you do want one they are about £25 from Renault as I had to buy one.

cheers for th replies pretty sure the bumpers been off before, may have been broke. something i will look into in the near future
