bonnet catch lock problem

has anybody ever had problems with the lock which is on the front panel,i had new catch fitted when i close bonnet it locks but there is still a bit of play ie movement,iv looked atmy other clio and its rock solid no play,are the catch looks nown to brake or ware,ps and its had loads of wd40 no joy:nono:

Bonnet locks love to fail when not maintained. Remove rust and grease them properly.

the lock looks ok and isnt rusty ,may be not sitting straight.

i have the same problem , mine locks but you can still push it down a bit more :S

yeh mate its a bit of a head eche i think il try another catch lock see have it goes.
