bonnet catch

I would get someone to hold the hold the leaver open and then try and lift the bonnet. If the bonnet opens then it will prob just be the spring that has broken

is there still resistance from the lever when you pull?? (ie the cable hasn't snapped or anything??

worked out I had to push down at the same time as releasing it inside, so now a two man job to open te bonnet lol
