bonnet dent

Washing my 172 today and just noticed a dent in the apex of the bonnet---almost certainly caused by somebody pressing it shut with the heel of the hand(before I bought it).

This part of the bonnet is re-inforced and you cant get to it

Any ideas? ?happened to anyone else

if it is a wide shallow dent it will probably just pull out with some sort of sucker.

Other than that ull need somone like dent devils who will drill a tiny hole and use a "special?" tool to push the dent out from the inside.

Would this special tool be a self tapping screw?

easy people. dents.. oh how i love thee. k these "suckers" are no good for small dents, i have one n its only good for pullin out big dents so i use less filler. If u dont want the bonnet painted call "dent devils" or dent masters. I work at carcraft west mids n we got dent masters there. Basically they get a screwdriver with a nice rounded end n gently pop out the dent from the inside. if they cant get to the dent.. then theyll drill a small hole if its double skinned and get to it that way. Hope this helps. oh.. and i think the rate is £30 - £40 per panel. jus one dent ide say £20ish.
