bonnet struts

im wanting my bonnet to open up and stay up without having to put the lever on

is there a company or any renault car that you can use struts to hold open the bonnet at either side?

Seen companys sellin em before . You could probably just get standard struts off any car in a scrapyard alot cheaper and use them .

Most locate them on or part of the inner wings.

Not possible on the MK2's with plastic wings heheh


Can be doen from elsewhere if you can find a good locating spot, tried this with my carbon fibre bonnet and its scary lol, bodyshop said it could fly up or break thru the bonnet as it wasnt strong enough

^^^^ True , they locate on the inner wing . Forgot about them bein' plastic :S . Cheap n nasty French crap , lol
