Bonnet Stuck shut :(

Hey guys wondering if any of you could give me some help to opening my bonnet,, The bonnet release lever in side the car pops the bonnet up a little, but when i went to pull the black level under the bonnet to lift it up it just came off ,


any help would be greatful

Has the whole thing come off or just snapped the plastic? If just plastic id try to use the end of a coat hanger to grip onto the lever, then pull it outwards with that maybe?

As said above, if it's just the plastic cover you have left in your hand then not to worry because if you go a little further under the bonnet you will feel a metal ring, which the plastic used to be attached to....just pull that

If the handle to open the bonnet has broken then just pull the cable.
