My alarm went off this morning at 4am
. Not being broken into but I think it is down to the bonnet switch being not exactly in prime condition. It seems to extend out of its housing and therefore when bonnet is closed I dont think it provides the contact properly to say bonnet is closed. Also there seems to be two spades on the bottom of the switch of which only one is connected up to a wire although I cant find any loose wires. Questions are
1. is this switch purely for the aftermarket alarm (import 172) or standard.
2. how many wires are there supposed to be on the switch?
