Which of these units would be better?

Dont want to spend too much more on the car as it is the "everyday car" so I would like to be able to adjust the box for power/economy - Im guessing this can be done once the unit is fitted?

Thinking a panel filter, bigger turbo, and a de-cat (want to keep my backbox) might also help the car with economy/power - please correct me if Im wrong

Its a remap alternative I need - dont want to go mad on the dci as I use it every day and the Ins is ever-so-slowly falling

the dragon/mr hoot ones are very good alot of the fabia, ibiza people run them
they are changeable for the amount of power but it will cause it to smoke alot usually

Smoke dont sound too good

what about the other bits - which would be more cost effective ?

I see - never thought of that

Would "smoking" cause any damage to the engine or anything?

no no all diesels do it anyway to an extent the boxes basically just intercept the signal saying inject 1 part fuel or what ever and change it to inject 2 part fuel or what ever

will it smoke a lot ?

Like will i have a steam train under my rear bumper ? :p

Im gessing a de-cat would make the smoke "worse" then if this is the case

Im getting the idea in my head of how the tuning would work (bit dumb for mechanical stuff )

would the de-cat or a panel filter be cost-effective after i fit a t-box ?

Someone told me today a pipercross filter sounds good on the dci - but som torgue is lost

would a filter be worth getting for the diesel?

can anyone shed light on this ?

thanks
