Boost trouble

  BMW 535d
Having run pod last week there were no troubles at all and parked the car up as normal and idled it down as normal

I start the car today after fitting a scuttle induction kit this week. Which is no more challenging to the turbo than an extra 2 foot of intake piping to the airfilter

Anyway I have noticed a smallish blow between the turbo and the manifold. Annoyingly the gasket is a brand new metal gasket fitted lessthan 2k ago. Assuming this will affect the capability of the car to make boost but I cant see how it is as bad as it is just through this small gap. Surely the exhaust manifold pressure wikll be FAR greater than allowing a small blow to stop it making full boost.

The turbo is definately not seized as it is still creating around 7-8psi. Whereas it should be right up to 14psi

It has also started this strange whistling noise tonight. Again, I cant see where it is coming from at all. I run a chargecooler that is easily accessible and easily viewable from the top of the bay and there are definately NO boost leaks.

Any other options before i start dismantling the exhaust manifold tomorrow?
